They are garbage not toasted. If you butter them grill them and slide hot meat between them with oozing sauces. It is hard to not enjoy them as sliders.

Why in the world would you toast the softest thing Jesus ever invented?
by Anonymous2 years ago
If you grill one side you get the softness with a nice buttery crunch
by Anonymous2 years ago
You know what, I'd try it. Maybe with some salty ham it would balance the sweetness.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I have a burger place that makes peanut butter burger. The sweet the peanut butter and the salty hamburger. Certain cheeses add salt so sometimes you can get away with a less salty meat.

They are so good with barbecue. It pairs really well with the tanginess of the sauce, and the richness of wood smoke.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Thank you. Came here to say this. I recently made BBQ pulled pork sliders with them and they were great.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Slaw or no slaw?
by Anonymous2 years ago
No slaw, crispy onions tho.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Same purpose, just give it a little crunch. What kind of sauce you working with? I'm partial to the Carolina sauces myself. Naked is also a perfectly valid choice.

They're a sometimes food. Is this a sometimes food?
by Anonymous2 years ago
You really should include barbecue pork with every meal. For health reasons.
by Anonymous2 years ago
BBQ is a staple food for me.
Every day at least for 1 meal.

I live in the UK and that usually my main request when friends are coming from America....
by Anonymous2 years ago
Truly an unpopular opinion
by Anonymous2 years ago
My 9yo will fight you over this.

Wouldn't want people with such trash opinions at my place anyway
by Anonymous2 years ago
Bye bye don't let the door hit you in the ass!!!
by Anonymous2 years ago
I will indeed be keeping my over-sugared gluten balls, thank you very much. And good day to you, sir. I SAID GOOD DAY! (Unpopular indeed, you've earned your updoot.)
by Anonymous2 years ago

by Anonymous2 years ago
I personally like the butter ones better
by Anonymous2 years ago
With this attitude, I'm surprised you have friends that invite you over?
by Anonymous2 years ago
Oh man 😂 I can only imagine what kinds of friends you have if you think that's an attitude. Would I complain at the dinner table? God's no, I'm opinionated, not an absolute ass.
by Anonymous2 years ago
Dude. You take a good VA Ham, the kind that is saltier than the Dead Sea. Cut your HI sweet roll in half and slap a slab of that ham between it. Try that. Should change your tune a little bit.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I'll try it, but I'll probably only eat one
by Anonymous2 years ago
$10 says you'll want another.
by Anonymous2 years ago
I'll take that bet, you could very possibly be right. It may balance the sweetness. Little ground mustard maybe some butter
by Anonymous2 years ago
I like them with mashed potatoes and turkey
by Anonymous2 years ago
"I have 1 question for you: How dare you!"
by Anonymous2 years ago
Let me guess? Somebody stole your sweet roll?
i don't like them either
