+153 Every Addams Family filmic endeavor should, must be in black and white... amirite?

I think you mean bright pink.

I'd like it if the actors specifically in the Family were done in black and white, through some sort of filter, and the rest of the world is color. It better captures their contrast to those around them.

But they're not supposed to be inhuman. They're supposed to be grim.

Nah, I like the ‘90s movies. They were pale with black hair (except Pugsley) with practically no color in their mansion, but since the film was in color, you could see the contrast with the rest of the world.

Hmmmm \*thinks on it, makes the so-so gesture with hand\* I actually really like the first two Live Action Addams Family movies and think they did a good job having a muted, dark color town with A) being boring angsty/broody and B) capturing the look of the show. But a B&W Addams Family movie could be cool.

I agree but i fear if they made a B&W movie it would be in hi-def and just not look good. They would have to lower the resolution to make it look better.

Logan, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Mist all had B&W versions made and all looked really good. If you put effort into the actual color grading and down just turn the dial to B&W and call it a day, it can work.

I think having colour helps with the contrast and distinction. It's also more immersive that way. Addams Family are black and white but the rest of the world isn't. I also really like the cartoons.

You can alter the settings on your TV to make it black and white whenever you want. Just do that.
