+138 Mac n cheese isnt that good, amirite?

There's a world of difference between blue box Kraft Dinner and "mac n cheese". Real macaroni and cheese is made with pasta, cream, cheese, and butter, plus a few seasonings. 100% free of "cow piss".

What kinds of mac and cheese have you tried? There are so many different ways of making it, and all of them taste very different. Any of the pre-made kinds or boxed versions also taste quite a bit different from the rest. Personally, I love a really good homemade mac and cheese, and also like it with different kinds of protein and vegetables added to it. Though I used to like boxed mac and cheese pretty well, I've gotten to the point to where most of it is bland and just salty, and only serves as a quick, convenient meal to get my belly full. I don't care for it at all anymore, and like the "deluxe" versions with the processed cheese sauce even less. I don't like to use American/processed cheese in my mac and cheese, either. The right combination of cheeses can make it delicious rather than bland, however. If you by any chance have only had boxed/pre-made mac and cheese (I know a lot of people who have), I highly recommend that you try it from scratch! It's also entirely possible to just not care for a certain food regardless of its preparation, and that's fine too! I wouldn't say that the only people who like it or make it are those that don't know how to cook or only like slop, though. 🤣 It's a staple here in the US and is often prepared by people who are amazing cooks as a side dish for holiday dinners, and there are plenty of people who love all kinds of great quality foods who enjoy it!

Depending on the brand but as someone who enjoys Mac and cheese I hate you

I could not agree more! I just don't get the fascination with mac and cheese. And yes, I've had the "good stuff" from high end restaurants. I hate it when they have that automatically paired with a main entree like it's some kind of special item.
