As a horse groom, i would like it to be changed. "What are you doing today?" "Got lots of grooming to do" ……..

Groom has other definitions.
The bride and groom
Groomed for promotion
These in conjunction with the definition of sorting out appearances of either animals or humans suggest the actual meaning of the word is more accurately portrayed as "preparing"
The bride and groom one is a little less obvious but still appropriate when you think about it.
In which case "grooming" in a sexual context is appropriate.

Yeah you know what it sounds too soft too! Could just stick with "manipulated with the intent to violate" or just "manipulates minors" call a spade a spade the harsher it sounds the better. I feel like the term "groom" minimizes what they are doing.

Why would you want to make Husbandry a terrible word?
As a husband I say go ruin a different word.
You could call it poaching. Although it's probably more like baiting than trespassing or hunting protected game outside of an official season.

Dude in what situation has someone had to specify whether it's an animal or a person when talking about grooming. No one. Absolutely no one.
