I don't think I've been to a wedding where the groom wore a black tux. The brides have all been in white.

That a good point, every wedding is different but all the ones I've been to they've worn a black tuxedo, maybe a couple times where the jacket was white

To me a wedding is nothing more than a funeral for freedom so black seems appropriate to me.
