+158 Every other celebrity is refused the HollyWood pass until it's Michael Jackson, amirite?

Michael Jackson was and continues to be a very specific circumstance that none of us will ever fully understand, powerful people were responsible for smearing his public image whereas most other examples are known offenders within many circles

what? Theres tons of creeps that have gotten away with whatever they wanted in Hollywood. Just picking Michael Jackson and weirdly using Jim Carrey is odd.

I only see people defending him online. I never in my personal life have heard him defended. I think people just feel bad that he had a traumatic childhood.

I mean the alphabet boys watched him for 10 YEARS and never got anything on him. Michael was still a black man at the end of the day even one microscopic evidence would have got him time but they didn't find it. And trust they'll plant stuff if they want you. I've dealt with cops my whole life if you brown you get profiled no matter how innocent you are.

Was he found guilty in the court of law? I don't think so. Classic case of "wrong guy". Just like OJ…

Sounds like you are angrier at Jim Carrey rather than "Every other celebrity". FYI, I never liked Jim Carrey.

I want to believe the (shady) industry faked this to take him down like they did with Dave Chappelle and others. I don't trust the music industry. They're known to take down celebs that don't agree with them in vile ways. It's evil.

What about Dave Chapelle ? Because I hear a lot about how evil the industry has been to him but the dude is thriving right now so I'm curious.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

They made up the fact that he went crazy because he was saying to the industry what will my fans think if I tell them you took 90% of my money. They're shady af. Even Prince calls himself 'The artists because that's how they call the celebs in the contracts and he was upset about how they take advantage of you. So he's like okay I'm just The artist

MJ was a VERY disturbed human being. Least of which, he dangled his infant child over the side of a balcony.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

so jim carrey didnt do those things??

by Anonymous 1 year ago

This is the first "opinion" that I've read here in a while that it's simply incorrect. You have no idea what you're talking about. MJ was torn apart for years by people trying to find anything to pin on him. It's likely a major cause of the sharp decline in good physical and mental health. Many of his accusers have come out in adulthood and recanted their testimonies. Meanwhile we have countless current and former celebrities who have had horrendous allegations against them and the cases just get swept under the rug and/or key witnesses/accusers disappear, go silent or "commit suicide". After which most people just forget that there ever was anything. I don't even like MJ or his music but to say he got a pass is absolute bs, he undeniably suffered and to say that nobody else gets a pass is also completely untrue.

Bill Cosby was beloved. Considered America's dad. Bill Cosby, if all the allegations are true, would also be one of the most prolific serial rapists in US history. People DO NOT want to believe the people they love and admire could be monsters.

You're young and don't know what you're talking about

I think Michael Jackson was protecting children from Hollywood

Hollywood is full of those people and I am starting to believe that MJ was a victim then used as a scapegoat. look at thar crazy blog writing about days and nights in Hollywood, whenever something goes public, they have been talking about it long in advance, I have no reason not to believe that everything there is true.

Well, for one thing, he's dead. And it's unbecoming to accuse the dead. They can't defend themselves against the charges. Death is the great leveler.
