I think this is pretty normal. Anyone who works out regularly is used to it/ likes it. It confirms that you're progressing

Yeah nobody likes lower body soreness, especially if you go to way to hard, you can barely walk on the 2nd day. The never skip leg day meme is definitely rooted in reality. If I skip a session it's always a lower body/core day and never an upper body day. The best workout feelings are definitely the mind muscle tension and the "pump" though. You get that and you just know you are hitting the muscles you are targetting.
