corn doesn't need to be in/on everything, amirite?
by Anonymous1 year ago
It's just a big ol lump of knobs
by Anonymous1 year ago
It also has the juice.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Well corn's a grain, so...
by Anonymous1 year ago
If we are being accurate it is a fruit. A grain is a type of fruit.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Where are you getting overwhelmed by corn? I eat as much corn as I want. It isn't forced upon me.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I would also like to know where this overwhelming amount of corn is being forced upon thee.
by Anonymous1 year ago
So uhhh we all know how tamales are made right? Well I got some chicken & cheese ones at Trader Joe's & they put LITERAL CORN KERNELS in it 🤮
by Anonymous1 year ago
Ew.

If you live in the US and eat any processed food, you're likely eating corn syrup.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Oh, well I'm not. But I'm assuming OP is talking about sweetcorn.

Pizza, nachos, salsa, queso, seafood boils, ice cream bars, on sandwiches, fries, Mac and cheese as well as in other pastas, lots of soups, salad, oatmeal, sausage balls, cornbread(with whole corn in it) there is definitely more but these come to mind.
by Anonymous1 year ago
You can't have a legit Cajun seafood boil without throwing some corn on the cob in there.
The rest of those I would agree that corn doesn't belong
by Anonymous1 year ago
I will accept this I just never see anyone eating the corn is why I put it.
by Anonymous1 year ago
You guys are wierd.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I'm ngl, bbq pizza with beans and chicken and corn and peppers absolutely slaps
But everything else you listed deeply upsets me
by Anonymous1 year ago
Even seafood boils? Throwing some corn on the cob in one of those is pretty standard
by Anonymous1 year ago
Never had one and I dislike most seafood so it's just a hunch I'd dislike that lol
by Anonymous1 year ago
Beans? On Pizza are you British this sounds like something they would do?
by Anonymous1 year ago
No like black beans. With bbq chicken. It sounds disgusting I know, I was very apprehensive, but it is amazing. 10/10 experience and I am American
by Anonymous1 year ago
Dude don't you put corn on your peanut butter jelly sandwiches?
by Anonymous1 year ago
I agree corn doesn't need to be in everything and it immediately turns me off when I see it
by Anonymous1 year ago
But, it has the juice?
by Anonymous1 year ago
Corn is the most magical of all vegetables. It adds a burst of sweet, citrusy, crunch, to every dish. It should be celebrated.
by Anonymous1 year ago
As a person who lived in poverty for a time, corn is good for adding a can to whatever you're making, to make it more of that thing. It doesn't make it better, just...more...
by Anonymous1 year ago
Yeah corn sucks
by Anonymous1 year ago
It has no business in salsa, thats for damn sure.
by Anonymous1 year ago
People are putting it in salsa?! Wtf??
by Anonymous1 year ago
And is queso
by Anonymous1 year ago
I love corn. I think its great. Unless its on the cob or an elote the only dish it goes in is stir fry. So i cant for the life of me figure out what dishes you're talking about
by Anonymous1 year ago
Pizza, nachos, salsa, queso, seafood boils, ice cream bars, on sandwiches, fries, Mac and cheese as well as in other pastas, lots of soups, salad, oatmeal, sausage balls, cornbread(with whole corn in it)
by Anonymous1 year ago
Gross. All of those with corn sound gross.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Bell peppers have entered the chat
by Anonymous1 year ago
jesus christ i clicked this with different expectations ðŸ˜
by Anonymous1 year ago
Corn cheese is good
by Anonymous1 year ago
It's better without the corn!
by Anonymous1 year ago
I'm a Khruschev level fan of corn, so I'll have to disagree with you on this one.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I like corn but I cannot eat it if it's off the cob. No canned corn. It *has* to be on the cob. It's a mind thing I guess. If it's in a bowl it's weird.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I hate corn in soup and in chicken pot pie. Fresh corn on the cob is delightful. But don't be acting like it fits in just anywhere.
by Anonymous1 year ago
The worst vegetable? Cauliflower would like a word
