How do you feel about intended mysteries and open endings and stuff?

I think it's important to distinguish between plot holes and intentionally open-ended stories. A well-done open ending can leave room for interpretation and discussion without sacrificing the integrity of the story.

I agree there's definitely a difference, but that's not really what I'm talking about. I mean the shows that are just kind of a mess and it seems like the writers don't even know what's going on. And they often go on way longer than youd expect, where you almost wonder if the network accidentally forgot the show is still being made. Supernatural and Riverdale come to mind but my favorite example is All Hail King Julien. That show is a fever dream and the tumblr fandom is bonkers. It's so fun.

>there's not much drama in the fandom. If that fandom exists. Most people would get confused and give up on a while like this if it was trying to be serious in any way
