Completely true, allmost all of the fighting sides's royals were descendants from Elizabeth, considering how many people lost their lives it is good to really think about a quote (its not the exact quote as I dont have time to seafch for it) from Harry Patch, also know als the last fighting Tommy: the politicians who want war should fight it out themselves

Not only were they descendants of Elizabeth they were first cousins---descendants of Queen Victoria (who had just died 13 years earlier). When asked about WW1, Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany sarcastically remarked, "If my grandmother had been alive, she would never have allowed it."
