Living next to or near an airport or train tracks is not bad at all. amirite?

As someone who lives near an airport, I can confirm that it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Plus, you get used to the noise pretty quickly.

Love trains. Spent a few years as a kid living next to the tracks. Never got over it . Mom's got a few pictures of my brother, me, and the family dog, lined up against the back fence watching the trains go by. Family story is the 0330 (am) train is the reason for our little brother. Still love trains.

I lived near tracks, 100 yards, and near an air force base, at the same time. You get used to the trains and the jets flying over.

I like the noises actually. I just like knowing "the world is moving" or however that should be phrased.

I love living in a busy city in general, I moved out into a more country area (thats marriage for ya) and I find it uneasy.

I took care of someone's house while they went on a trip.
Holy crap it was wayyy too quiet.
I put the TV in the living room on Loud SportsCenter just so I could fall asleep.

You get used to it. I lived in an apartment with a freight train running right outside the window. The first few times it came through at 3AM and the building started shaking it was terrifying but once you get used to it you don't really notice.

My first house had a train directly in my Back yard. It was annoying the first 3-5 days and then I literally couldn't hear it anymore. People would come over and point it out to me but I would go months and months with out even noticing a train go by

Living near train tracks sucks. I'm glad I don't anymore. I can still hear the trains through my headphones when I game with my former roommate
