Yeah, I never understood why it's the Easter Bunny who brings candy, and not a bird of some sort, like a chick or a dove. Pagans really ruin these holidays lol

Pagans actually created these holidays. The holiday is all about fertility. Eggs and bunnies represent that. I would say the coloring of eggs goes along with Maypole and other colorful activities that welcome Spring. Easter wasn't about Jesus for thousands of years.
