Old forums are the best social media. amirite?
by Anonymous2 years ago
I used to spend all of my allotted internet time on them when I was younger, inquiring about my interests and learning so much. Social media apps now are basically the cable TV equivalent of forums.

I was in a few forums and they were the best. I made lots of great friends on them!
I miss them!♡

I'm old enough to remember insidetheweb and had a forum of my own on that service. It was free and quick and easy to set one up.

Recommend me some forums that are still alive and kicking op. I used to have my own but they're all dead nowadays.

Forums were great. Good dialogue and a sense of "community." Met up with a few folks from them, and they became my lifelong friends. Those were the good old internet days.

I still use a couple for sports clubs that I follow. Never met any of the participants but feel rather close to them.

Dude this can't be unpopular. Old school forums were incredible. I wish more people still used them.
