I think people over react how dangerous suvs and trucks are, amirite?
by Anonymous2 years ago
I think it's more about how the driver handles the car than the car itself. Reckless driving is dangerous regardless of the type of vehicle.

Yup i agree on this

They take up too much parking, plus most people who drive arnt professional truck drivers. Parents think it's safer for their own inexperienced children; or themselves to be In larger vehicles for protection, meanwhile endangering everyone else on the road with pointlessly heavy vehicles. Some truck owners are so short the can't reach the bed.

This sounds like it was written by a cat.

I need a lifted pickup, my bed holds 3k lbs of cat litter as a emergency bathroom

I'm six foot five and was until recently well over 300lbs and I drive a Corolla.
Unless you're over seven foot tall, you don't need an F150 to fit.

Well you bought a toyota, those are well made cars, vs my first car a chevy aveo I felt like Mr incredible in his small car when he got a normal job

So buy a better car, not simply upgrade to a tank
by Anonymous2 years ago
They're dangerous because of how unstable they are compared to a normal car in hazardous weather conditions. SUV's have a high center of mass which makes them more prone to lose control.

Mine has kept me safe through any snow season, never had my wheels lift off the ground, when I had a chevy aveo tho, now that small thing could flip easy, only once I had the wheels lift off granted my fault but also was doing the speed limit, but also it was wet and the thing was a tin can so 100% my fault my wheels lifted, but my suv wouldn't do that and hasn't came close

Well I'm not saying it'll 100% kill you, but compared to a normal car There's a noticeable difference. That being said, the chance of having an accident in any car is low.

I feel it depends more on the driver and sadly there are a lot of assholes on the road
