Chocolate covered strawberries are terrible. amirite?

Chocolate covered strawberries are one of those things that are harder to accomplish than they sound. Really good ones are great...but, most are just nice decoration.

I disagree. I think chocolate covered strawberries can be amazing if done right. It's all about finding the perfect balance between the two flavors and making sure the chocolate adheres properly to the strawberry.

You gotta dip only half of the strawberry imo and be careful about the size of the berry. Helps with the chocolate falling off and isnt way too much chocolate

This is one of those foods where the image is better than the taste. A fun Valentines day experience is all I ever saw them as.

Oh! you mean the premade ones served cold with a kind of crunchy shell of chocolate. Definitely try it with your own heated chocolate and strawberries that are warm for a fundamentally different experience. Because you're right, the cold ones are pretty bad. and always made with pretty bad berries

Chocolate strawberries are expensive too at my local supermarket I can get a whole bar of chocolate for $1 and it tastes better.
