Your future self is watching you through memories. amirite?
by Anonymous11 months ago
Considering how bad my memory and how I barely remember things I did in the last 5 years I'd wager that no, they're not. Lol

Same. Except for those cringe moments....those ones I remember forever.

I do realize this. This is why I avoid embarrassing situations, I know I will be watching them on repeat for the rest of my life.

Yup, this exactly. Aaaaall too aware of this. Anxiety is a sonuvabitch.

Embarrassing situations come and they go just accept it and move on nothing to keep urself up at night for

I've noticed my memories aren't always accurate. Especially those as a kid. It's small stupid stuff like when I was 4 or 5 my brother and I were at my grandad's house. He was drunk and mad about something and ended up taking a shotgun and blew the TV to smithereens. My memory thinks we were watching dragontales, but my older brother said we were watching RoboCop.

I learned early that lying only drags it out and makes it way worse when found out, and to hurt others in anger or jealousy or for vengeance will haunt you. I'm 32 and I've had to come to terms with a lot of regrets. I lost my uncle, grandpa, and mom in that order a year apart. Two years ago my sister took her life. I regretted not visiting my mother in her last days, regretted avoiding seeing my grandpa after high school cuz I smoked weed, got mad with my uncle after he got drunk said hurtful things and didn't talk to him much, he got sick went into a coma and I never talked with him after that, I used to regret that I hadn't killed myself before my sister so she'd have felt the pain of loss I have and resolved herself not to pass it on like I have. Discern, confront, and forgive yourself and others. I know young and old people who just live in addiction and misery for no other reason than to be distracted from painful regrets, some of these people are family. Take action to make the memories you'll have later in life ones that bring nostalgic smiles rather than pained grimaces. I wish these pains on no and pray that we all find our way to personal peace. I love you all 🙂

I guarantee my future self will not remember a single second of what happened today.

My future self is thinking, damn, should've started working out 20 years ago…

Every night actually ... usually apologize to my past and to my future ... just in case.

Time & space is an illusionary construct we use to interpret quantum interactions of the world around us.
Time is a vector measure of decreasing entropy.

You are imagining that you will be able to remember. Good luck.

I am the language of memory and the crafter of this path of words. Each word a step further into infinity, each stone made when your feet leaves the last.
Though broken a path may appear, it is a path I walk so that all knows that it can be achieved.

Ur past self is watching u through the present and future by creating things that has or hasn't happened

He WILL BE watching me through HIS memories. He is not currently watching me, as he doesn't yet exist, and those memories will not be mine, but his. He is the person I will become, etc.

Joke's on them, I can't remember what I... wait, what were we talking about?
Technically, we always live in the past because it takes minimum 40 milliseconds to process sensory I put and create a sensation. We can look to the future and remember the past but we can never truly experience "now".

And you current self is watching your older self through future memories… time is an illusion

Maybe your life is actually flashing before your eyes this very moment.
