Vacuuming is the best, agreed. Feels so fulfilling. Conversely, doing the dishes (when you don't have a dishwasher) is the worst. Hate it all.

Do you have young kids? Becuase folding tiny people's laundry is by far worse than dishes. And it's 10x true for socks. Every pack is a different shape and you can't just buy the same brand over and over. people gift your kids sets of socks and it would be wasteful and you got more important things to spend money on. And even within the same pack they are different colors and patterns. It's just so aweful.

Whe. I sold my last house the absolute best was the final vaccum and the perfect pattern it left on the floor. Best part of moving.

None of normal household chores are in any way enjoyable, including vacuuming. They are something that just has to be done. If I was really wealthy I'd hire a maid to do these time-consuming, inane pieces of existence.  Oh well, Roomba it is I guess.  PS. as irritating as these household chores are, they got nothing on the agony and pure hatefulness of yardwork. I detest yardwork.

Pretty satisfying. Imagine a floor full of dust, and then vacuuming little strips and seeing a shining floor. Pure satisfaction. Only thing I don't like is the noise-
