i think when people say they like a ‘bad' movie they're just saying the movie is generally not well reviewed a lot of people like to watch sharknado for instance which is not well made in any aspect, but it lands in the so-bad-it's-good category it's just semantics at the end of the day

Nah I think this is dumb. A movie can have amazing camera angles, amazing plot and storyline, and amazing actors and writing... And a person could just not enjoy it because they dont enjoy that specific kind of media. People also value different things in their personal enjoyment of a piece of media, some people prefer imagery over story, or over acting or action.

i didn't read your whole rant but i just believe you're wrong, you're telling me that you never experienced some art that made you say:: "it's objectively good, i can tell that, but it's not my thing so i don't enjoy it" ?
