+138 I decided I hate phone cases, amirite?

i love the no case feel but it's too slippery, without my case i'd drop it all the time

Too much risk without a case. I like to use a case that folds and has some extra utility, like propping up the phone so I can watch vids without having to hold it up, or when the case has a slot for cards so I can put my business card in the case rather than my fat, old wallet.

Yeah, like you said it does look and feel much better "naked", but realistically everybody drops their phone now and then. We're talking about some seriously expensive electronics, it's worth the sacrifice for a little piece of mind IMHO. I remember back in the 2010s before screen protectors and cases were mainstream seeing those cracked screens all the time.

I used to own a blackberry back when it was coin to own. They never had cases or screen protectors for it yet

I've been using my 13 Pro without case or a screen guard since 1.5 years. Dropped it once on carpet. Biggest problem for me is keeping the phone on hard surfaces like table. Without case it rests on camera lense. Can't keep it face down cause no screen guard. I mostly keep it in my pocket or something soft like a tissue paper or micro fiber cloth if I'm at home.

They need to look better and more natural. Most of them look like military armor, unless that's your look and for me it isn't.

Going raw always feels better. But in all seriousness, maybe just get a skin to cover the rest of the phone or a bumper. Not as much protection, but better than nothing.

I get what you mean. Personally I use mine not just because I use it for work and sometimes drop it but also for a practical reason. If the case isn't on it I can't type without dropping it or hitting the wrong keys because the thing is too small.

I love the transparent silicon cases. Looks better without, of course, but the feel in hand is great. I have a Samsung A51 and those things are slippery as hell.

Hate phone cases as well. Unfortunately when the phone drops it aint worth going without

Idk man I can't use any phones without a case because it feels just so much better with one.

I 100% agree with you. Buuuut, I hate paying to replace phones more.

I got my case back on. I did see in Amazon they sell super thin cases. Maybe I'll try one of those

I usually just have a thin silicone case on mine. It works pretty well for what I need (no drops above waist height).

I actually know a few people who think the same thing All of them have to replace their phone atleast once or twice a year Sometimes the risk just isn't worth it man

Good for you. Though you should not come crawling back to us when you get a screen crack.

I'd agree with you if phones were still durable like they were during the feature phone days. You could drop those down a flight of concrete stairs and at worse it'd be a few scratches on a corner. Glass phones shatter if dropped from 2 feet onto a hard surface.

I like the 3D cartoon cases and the ones with liquid and stuff in it. No chance in hell would I ever go with a naked phone lol. Now about the screen protectors, they're too thick and crack too easily.
