When I used to play PUBG, the main reason I played it was the tension from not knowing when or where your gonna get hit and the whole one life thing.

I used to love PUBG. It was exciting to know I ended someone's 30 minutes gameplay with a single shot and they didin't even see it coming

I've never cared for battle Royale games and fortnite is especially bad. It's a ridiculous concept to start without a weapon.

Battle royales Are really just one Of the evolutions of the first person shooter genre. It started with team based capture the flag shooters like quake, team fortress, ect, And expanded into larger games akun to battlefield, Where they would increasingly put larger numbers of people on to a map to fight each over or an objective. More and more people got crammed onto a map until somebody said "Why don't we just make this a free for all?" Just give it time and they'll evolve into something else
