The fact you kill a cockroach but not a butterfly proves looks matter. amirite?

Cockroaches give off a nasty stench made by oliec acid that taints everything it touches. And they eat out of your toothbrush. Butterflies are gentle creatures that eat nectar and fly around.

Butterflies will also eat decaying matter like rotten fruit or carcasses, as well as solid waste. Their diet isn't much "prettier" than a cockroach's.

Butterflies aren't disease carriers and weren't crawling around in my apartment when I lived in the ghetto. 😂

Maybe if butterflies scuttled around the bathroom at night it'd be different

The day I open my cupboard and a bunch Monarchs fly out will be a glorious day.

Cockroaches are disease carriers. Also, people can be highly allergic to them, and it can trigger someone's asthma.

not a whole lotta butterflies swarming peoples kitchens at night.

Butterflies don't try to invade my home and get into my food. I'd kill any insect that does that. I don't care how beautiful it is.

Wouldn't say so - not only do I kill butterflies as well, but I kill cockroaches because they carry disease and are a sign of a place being unclean, also butterflies are not hideous.
