A lot of kids learn to curse from movies, TV, and other kids.

From personal experience, I learned it from others. Cursing is so ingrained into our culture that it's pretty much inevitable. I just don't curse in front of my parents out of respect but I go crazy with friends.

This is an oversimplification of the issue. There is nothing wrong with correcting behavior, but how. But you could say that about anything.
Kids are going to learn cuss words just like we did in grade school. What they often lack is understanding appropriate use of the words. A filter.
Just like you dont want kids talking about poop at the dinner table, you dont want them cussing every sentence.
And sure, parents shouldn't either.

I never understood that either. I have 0 problem with anybody of any age saying any swear word. That's just a problem somebody made up.

It's actually from their peers. Very little is copied by the parents.
