8am to 8pm sounds a lot longer than 8pm to 8am, amirite?
by Anonymous1 year ago
Well yeah because 8am to 8pm is most of our active hours whereas 8pm to 8am is sleepy sleep

I disagree. There's many things I could spend 12 hours doing from 8am to 8pm but not many things I would do from 8pm to 8am. I guess it's a matter of opinion.

Well isn't that what OP meant? It feels like a lot longer cuz u have more available things to do then?

I'm not talking about what's available to do. I'm talking about what I would be willing to do for twelve hours straight in the day vs night.

If I'm busy doing things it feels shorter than sitting around doing nothing. I've had to stay up all night without much to do before and it drags on painfully long.

Having worked shift work for more than 30 years, I would respectfully disagree.

Obviously because 8am to 8pm is 12 hours but 8pm to 8am is only 4 hours. /s

yeah cause you are asleep for most of the time in the other one!
