Hating on people for loving and supporting their favorite artist is absurd. amirite?

Men will have a heart attack the moment they find out their girl reads fanfiction meanwhile he spends every Saturday playing fantasy football and could name every player, their number, their wife and kids names, where they were born, and their eye colour. From memory.

Sunday mornings are for fantasy football not Saturdays. Sheesh

Yep, I think it's ridiculous when fully grown men cry when their favourite sports team loses. I don't get it. I've never heard of people being called obsessive for just purchasing their favourite band's music, though. That's what you're supposed to do, right?

Money, they're betting on games. I could never fathom why my older cousin got so irrationally upset over a sports loss. Turns out he was just really bad at sports betting lmao

I have a friend who does not bet and he cries whenever his favourite football (soccer for anybody not British) team loses. I also see little children crying on television when they show you the audience of the losing team. It's absurd.

One thing is buying the merch and listening to the artists music, and another thing is following every single action of the artist, knowing all his/her exes, the dog name, and even creating a fanpage of the artist.

I've seen men make fanpages for sport guys but pop off

>I see videos all the time of people getting emotional and upset that they're favorite sports team lost even going as far to have total freak outs.
What if I told you that I am a fan of neither?

I don't feel like music fans get criticized for streaming music or buying merchandise or even going to concerts
by Anonymous1 year ago
They do especially when they stream all the time to support. Also buying albums isn't really something most people do nowadays. Most just causally stream what they want to hear in the moment.

I have someone in mind when I say, some people are just a little more obsessed and they feel the need to talk about said band ALL THE TIME.
