+144 SDCC Exclusives and any other "one location" exclusives are outdated and an unfair concept, amirite?

"I had to spend far aboveā€¦" No, no you didn't. You chose to spend more.

Sorry but I disagree. When practically every single listing of said figure was double the RRP, I "had" to spend above. Yes, I chose to buy the figure, but that's because I really wanted it. I did not choose to pay that price for it though. I had to pay that price for it because there was no chance in buying it for the RRP. If it had been available at its RRP, then I would have bought it at that price. It wasn't, so I had to buy the next "cheapest" one available

You absolutely chose to pay that price. You could have not bought it. "But I really wanted it". Well then you gotta pay the price. That's how it works.

"Well then you gotta pay the price. That's how it works." I agree. That is how it works. The issue I have though is that such items, when there is clearly demand for it elsewhere in the world, should be made more available than a single location. Therefore, I would "pay the price" if it was more available at the RRP that it should be. Why should I have to pay double the amount just because some company chose to release it at SDCC? I mean how is it fair to your fan base who is collecting, say Star Wars figures, and they released all the OT figures for general release except for Chewbacca, whom you could only get at SDCC. It's just a massive middle finger up to your fan base. Or, same scenario, but to make it more SDCC realistic, they released 10 figures, numbering 1-10 respectively. Figures 8, 9 and 10 are Han and Luke with medals and 10 is Leia in her ceremony dress. These 3 figures are SDCC exclusive. The next wave starts at 11-20. So for all those people who live outside America, or even California, they will have 3 figures missing from their collection and the only way they have the chance to get them is to pay extortionate prices for them in the after market. It really isn't right
