You can't tell if someone is a good person or not. amirite?

>We could all say that serials killers or these "bad" people are really horrible and that they will go to hell but it's so not okay. Maybe they have a mental condition making them unaware on how horrible the things that they are doing are
Mental conditions can be a reasoning behind why someone did what they did, but its not a justification. If someone killed someone for any reason outside self defense, I view them in a negative light, regardless of their reasoning for it

You only know a person is good based on your last assessment of them. Everything else is pure speculation.

How would you know only based on your own evaluation? Isn't that weird to think that you could put someone in the "bad person" category only because you judged so..?

My opinion of you is only based on my experience of dealing with you. If you act in a good manner, i will make the judgement that you are a good person. If you act in a bad manner, then i would judge you to be a person of negative character. If you act in a neutral manner, i will have nothing to go by and i will reserve making any judgement whether you are good or bad.
How else am I supposed to judge someone?

I'm not judging if they're *generally* a good person, more if they're good for me to interact with and enjoy. I don't think there are actually good people just people who are good from a certain perspective, everybody's a villain of someone's story

You're right, because none of us are good people. We all live in this morally gray area. Some people lean more towards the darker gray while others towards the lighter gray ends of the spectrum, but ultimately, there is always some good or bad within us all.

There is no such thing as good and bad as inherent qualities. All that matters ultimately are our actions and how they affect others to perceive them.
