Ignorance is bliss — too much knowledge and logic can often lead to nihilism, which isn't good for living your life
Example: You are a philosopher who foresees a great crisis coming, you warn everyone but nobody listens. Did having the knowledge help you ? Or it just made you see how helpless you are despite all the wisdom.

Lol then you can just sit there and say "told you so" on your little high horse when you prove everyone wrong

I mean why would I need to learn a neck will instantly spray out blood from the veins like a horror movie prop once the head is cut off.
It's not as shocking as you think it would be, still kinda shocking just not as shocking

I think Benjamin Franklin put it best the infamous Paris Diaries. "Better to cum in the sink than sink in the cum. Lest you be outjerked."

Benjamin Franklin was truly an innovator.... Bold and inspirational.... So stunning and brave.....

Most knowledge is good knowledge, i can agree with that much.... On the other hand, having a photographic memory means that there are certain things i can literally never unsee.... Knowledge is good, but most times i'd prefer not to see pictures of it because disturbing images can play like a film loop that can't be turned off...

"I now know that I would have been better off not seeing that" is a pretty common thing to learn from seeing horrible things.

I can know about the nature of war and cruelty without needing to see dismembered bodies. I can know the importance of automobile safety and wearing my seat belt without having to see images of car crashes.
