+118 Unless you're famous, a cemetery can eventually replace your grave with someone else. amirite?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Not necessarily. Look at Mozart. Where is he buried?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I was assuming you have your own grave. I'm not sure how mass graves fit into that.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

But you can also be famous and not have your grave immortalized. Look at John Jacob Astor or Stockton Rush.

Maybe that's why rich folk are dying in the stupidest of places, like the deep sea, highest mountains, etc Everest is literally littered with corpses of folk who paid good money to be there and their corpses will never be moved due to the sheer difficulty and danger Their thinking is so far ahead of common poor plebs like us, damn

At the moment, he's writing symphonies backwards. He's still decomposing.

Isnt this how it usually works? At least in sweden you pretty much rent a lot. As long as your descendents continue to pay for it you might keep it but at some point your great great great grandaughters nephew is gonna be like "why?" and you're out.

> at some point your great great great grandaughters nephew is gonna be like "why?" Or if you're an ass in life, your children

But how would they piss on my grave then?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Put you in, pee, cancel, done.

Cemeteries are for the living. If the living no longer visit, there is no need for it to be there.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

That won't be my problem

He's probably chilling with Elvis and Bigfoot, sipping celestial cocktails.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Hey' if we buried people vertically then we could triple the capacity.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I heard japan does this

by Anonymous 1 year ago

*famous or overly rich

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Just keep a picture around no need to keep a location for your corpse

by Anonymous 1 year ago

True, but let's hope they don't replace my grave with a karaoke machine!

Some of you dont know how cemeterys work. You rent a plot for 50ish years. if the the fees arent paided, the plot is cleaned out and resold.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

>plot is cleaned out and resold. > >What is done with the remains?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

cremated.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Pretty sure that is how the Muslims do it.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yeah, if that wasn't the case we would run out of space even faster than now

by Anonymous 1 year ago

No clue, but I bet he's composing heavenly melodies up there!

by Anonymous 1 year ago

They not only can, they will.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Cremation is cheaper.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Depends. A lot of families have their own cemeteries on larger property, especially in more rural areas

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Unless you're cremated.
