i don't care to grow up if it means i can't enjoy what i like and have to be productive all the time

>I want to travel and socialize and play video games, DnD, watch anime, explore my dating options more before settling down(I'm a late starter). These don't have anything to do with growing up. When people say someone hasn't "grown up" they mean this person is unwilling to take care of their responsibilities without handholding.

Yep, 100 percent. Nothing has changed in how I behave in my 30s than how I behaved in my late teens. The only difference is that I have a career, a marriage, and own a home, and all that happened in my early to mid 20s. My job allows me flexible summers, so I basically live like a college kid on summer vacation and party and do whatever the heck I want.

I think these views have changed a lot in recent years. Especially with the amount of people not having children. You do you is becoming more acceptable and I think that's a good thing.
