Im the total opposite, LOVE vinegar, but I can see why you hate it. As Peter from FG says, it "insists upon itself." Lol. But I'm from NC and I can't fathom a sweet tomatoey sauce on bbq. Bbq sauce is strong vinegar, pepper, and MAYBE some tomato. Also love a salad with a strong vinegarette and some feta cheese…..Yum!

agreed. it's just way too acidic. im also not big on ketchup either. i enjoy hot sauce but even certain ones like tabasco are way to vinegary for my liking

I really dislike it. The smells taste and everything. But it's also a great preservative. Damn it's low PH!!

I can relate! The smell of vinegar can be quite off-putting for me as well. It's great to see how our individual tastes differ.
