Netfix Witcher screenwriters HATE The Witcher story and characters. Even a Sharknado series would be better.

A minuscule percentage of the Netflix Witcher audience has read the Witcher books. It's more important to make a show people will want to watch than to make a faithful telling of the books.

Not only people who readed the books, everyone who has played the video game would want to see a series about what happened before and that's what happens in books, not what happens in this nonsense. Game of Thrones made an almost faithful telling of the books and everyone loved it.
