Reading philosophical texts to be "less stressed" seems like a fool's errand. If you want to be "less stressed" do cocaine, hire prostitutes, or just masturbate; but no matter what you do the feelings will be temporary.

The point is to give you all tools so you can help yourself. The point is to show how the world and human nature works. The part on how to leverage this knowledge is on you. There is no blueprint to a happy successful life.

All social nonfiction is concerned with "groups". Chemistry, maths, construction, medicine, mining, refridgeration, textiles, none of that is social, so it's not about groups. The only value in groups is that groups are powerful. In that a battle between a solitary person and a group, the group will always win. Most of the world's problems are due to groups.
