It kind of depends. It can get pretty annoying after a while, even more so when you DO know what you're doing but just aren't having much luck.

If the streamer is okay with it, then so be it. However, if a streamer requests people not to do it, then that request should be respected. I mean, in my opinion, it's not so difficult to just kick back and relax instead of telling the streamer what to do. Imagine being micro managed at your job by (likely) multiple people all at the same time for hours.

Backseat gaming isn't just with streamers. If you are playing a game and your friend is next to you telling you information while your trying to think, it can be distracting and annoying.
