I think the celebrity that would surprise me least is if we found out Prince faked his death. I'm not saying he did, but if you told me he did in casual conversation, I'd entertain your theory.

there was a conspiracy theory that he was dead; back in the '60s. I wonder if he started it. there was an album they put out back then, don't remember the name of it, but the beetles were walking across a road (Abby Road, I think). All were wearing shoes except Paul. He was barefoot (symbolizing death). A license plate in the background read "28if" meaning that he would have been 28 had he lived. a line in the background of one of their songs says, "Paul is really dead." Interesting stuff.

Funny how people turn into super fans when someone dies. More recently with 80s pop stars like Michael Jackson, George Michael and Prince. Just wait till Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Boy George, etc go. The super fans and juke box plays at bars and downloads on iTunes will make their estate a ton of money while dead. It will be even more nuts when Spears, Aguilera, Timberlake pass in the future based on how digital music is these days and their fan base grew up on downloads mostly.
