Just because you don't think it's cool, doesn't mean that it should be illegal. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but it ultimately comes down to personal choice. If safety was everyone's biggest concern, motorcycles would be illegal by this point.

your point would have more weight if people were routinely driving '50s classic cars through walls on a regular basis, or killing people on a regular basis. they're not. in fact there are very few classic cars on the road, and they are typically driven on rare/special occasions only. very few people are spending thousands of miles behind the wheel of a classic car in a year.
