I remember getting a call during covid from my insurance company and I swear the lady on the other end of the phone was taking a dump. I was driving a van at the time with her on loud speaker and someone else was sitting beside me and they heard it as well. She had mentioned working from home. If it wasn't that then it was just a very very very very very misfortunate series of sounds.

Yes. I do the same. I began talking quite a lot on the phone ever since it became "kinda free"ish to do it (meaning 15 yrs ago or something)(just over the internet if not via anything else). Especially because I lived alone for quite a long time.

You're wrong. Most bathrooms have a certain acoustic to it, since it's a small room filled with tile. Doesn't matter if your muted for every fart and splash, your voice will always give away the fact that your speaking from a bathroom, and a lot people on the other line aren't conformable talking to someone while a turd hangs out of their ass. If my phone's ringing while I'm in the bathroom, even if I'm just cleaning the mirror, I'm waiting until I get a chance to step out of the bathroom before answering any call.
