by Anonymous1 year ago
It is only acceptable on a Reuben sandwich.

This!!!!

Try mustard instead and you'll never go back.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I've only had spicy mustard on mine. Couldn't imagine thousand island being better.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Yeah definitely mustard on mine.

Thousand Island > Ranch
YOU are terrible.
by Anonymous1 year ago
thousand island over RANCH? i won't accept this.
by Anonymous1 year ago
He's right… it has some amazing qualities. Happy to let many food items just swim in Thousand.

>Happy to let many food items just swim in Thousand.
Like a Big Mac back when they made them right.

well, it's never been in thousand, but the sauce is a close cousin and another favorite. i still will, a couple times a year, have my favorite big mac variant of extra sauce, cheese and onions with light or no lettuce and no pickles. always get two. horribly addictive but i've kept myself under control on my limits.

Ranch is the og

Whenever I hear "ranch dressing," I think of an old commercial for Chili's restaurants. The narrator talks about taking his family out to eat, and his wife had a salad " with ranch dressing." Cut to scene showing lady eating a salad; she's dressed in cowgirl gear.

I like Thousand Islands dressing on my burgers. It tastes great.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I've only tasted one island, and I dont know if a thousand gets any better
by Anonymous1 year ago
i'm stealing this joke
by Anonymous1 year ago
It might be a regional thing.
I grew up on Thousand Island dressing on all kinds of things.
Not only did we use it on salads, but my mom would grate sharp cheddar cheese and mix Thousand Island Dressing into it and spread it on sour dough bread and toast it in the oven on a cookie sheet.
by Anonymous1 year ago
It tastes like how the color looks . I don't know how to explain it
by Anonymous1 year ago
Makes a great fry dip, among many other great uses.
by Anonymous1 year ago
You just need to try the dressing from the other 999 islands to make sure there's a variation that you like.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I use it as a marinade for my London broil steaks. I don't think I've EVER seen it actually used as a salad dressing, but it's bomb af on a reuben.
by Anonymous1 year ago
It's literally the only thing that makes a salad tolerable. What is not to like about ketchup, mayo and some relish all mixed into a gloppy and glorious sauce?

by Anonymous1 year ago
it's not good. i don't know what it is about it, but it's just terrible. there so many superior dressings to drench your salad in, and if you're eating a good salad: you'll barely need any dressing!
by Anonymous1 year ago
What are you? Communist?
by Anonymous1 year ago
It's good on burgers.
by Anonymous1 year ago
it's just not though
by Anonymous1 year ago
Yumm yumm yummmmm 🍔
by Anonymous1 year ago
Omg yes! It's exactly like vomit
by Anonymous1 year ago
It's super vile
by Anonymous1 year ago
i stand with you
by Anonymous1 year ago
Huh. I don't mind it.
A bit too strong for salads, ironically, but I like it with certain meat combos.
Ranch, on the other hand...
by Anonymous1 year ago
what's the hate on ranch? it's perfectly creamy, little tangy, tastes good on basically anything
by Anonymous1 year ago
I love you
by Anonymous1 year ago
Mac sauce enters the chat.
by Anonymous1 year ago
see now because a big mac could EASILYY be elevated if they just chose a different sauce! imagine a big mac with chipotle ranch or aioli 🙃
by Anonymous1 year ago
Maries creamy garlic dressing is where it's at
by Anonymous1 year ago
Thousand island is the pinnacle of salad dressing. Red Russian is close and Caesar is a close third.
by Anonymous1 year ago
Only on my animal style fries please.
by Anonymous1 year ago
you are not wrong in terms of it as a salad dressing, but it makes a great sauce on a burger if made properly. The trick is you don't need that much, so it's not overwhelming.
by Anonymous1 year ago
No, it sucks
by Anonymous1 year ago
i went through a period where i used thousand island dressing as a sauce. So like instead of tomato sauce i used thousand island dressing
by Anonymous1 year ago
sickening.
by Anonymous1 year ago
It's perfect with deli Turkey
by Anonymous1 year ago
What else do you dip your prawns into?
by Anonymous1 year ago
