I always watch tv and movies at home with cc on, and I don't have any hearing disability

I was surprised when I went to a movie theater and the movie I wanted to see was open captions; it was nice to see even though I don't have hearing difficulties

They should just turn it up as loud as possible so everyone inside and outside the theater can hear it

If the cc devices don't work or aren't charged, file a complaint with the dept of justice. .oat big cities have one. It is an ADA violation.

It is weirdly uncommon, like they will have one screening a week on a Tuesday morning or something. I know a few Deaf people and I am not sure I've even heard of signed films, although some plays and stage performances can be (bit easier to have a signer just to one side and put people needing that in one section of the audience I guess).
