Yes, please just play the same 4/4 beat over and over and over and don't change anything. I don't want to hear any artistic expression, I just want to nod my head like a psychiatric patient on too many meds. /s.

The instrumental should build and progress through different parts of the song, but I've not seen too much where the instrumental switches completely. I see this in techno or dnb more as they can change very dramatically over 3+ minutes or literally fully change instrumentals multiple times.
