Rugs are nothing but a tripping hazard, amirite?
by Anonymous1 year ago
There's either something wrong with your rug or something wrong with the way you walk.
I've lived in houses with rugs my entire life and have never tripped on any of them

Yeah but, sometimes they can really tie a room together.

Not if someone pees on it!

hey, at least I'm housebroken.

What is going on with you right now

My wife just had an open heart surgery and I am so worried for her that she will trip and hurt herself or the stitches area.
That's all I am worried about at this moment. Thanks for asking.

As person who now walks with a cane/crutch because of a TBI, I sadly agree with you. I have partial feeling in my feet and I don't sense that I've tripped until I'm past the point of no return on my way to the floor.

There's rug tape that helps keep them in place. Picking your feet up helps too.

Those things are suicide machines for the elderly

Have you ever used a sticky pad underneath? Those really will make your rug stick, and it was a pain to move the rug because of it.

Do you wear high heels? Maybe that's the problem.

Handwoven rugs are one of the best investments you can make. They last for decades, are easy to clean, and you can move them with you (unlike any other type of flooring).

I too hate rugs. Not because they're a tripping hazard but because I have had a lifelong aversion to the feeling of walking on carpet. Makes my head feel like it's going to explode
by Anonymous1 year ago
That's not true, they're also rugs.

My wife tripped on a rug at my work (apartment complex) and joked that she was going to sue. I still tease her about the time that she tripped over ADA compliant rugs.

Man, rugs really tie the room together.

They keep floors warmer and help reduce heating costs in cold climates.
