I think the bunny guy is the real evil one. I mean he has a key to everyone's bedrooms. Like why does he have that unless he's the real villain?

Malicious? Maybe not, it's a pilot though so we can't be too sure about anything about him save for what we already do know. But I'm not gonna say he's good.

I don't want to say that he's 100% not malicious since this is only the pilot, we can't know for sure yet, but as a prediction I do think there's a chance that Caine's just an AI who's trying his best to help out the humans. He might not even be able to release them, so the exist thing seems like the next best option. If he even know what they mean by exit. Maybe he just thinks they want a door that says exit?
