In general there should be a distinction between "you might not want to see this" and "you might not want to be seen seeing this"
by Anonymous1 year ago
I like that concept a lot
by Anonymous1 year ago
Technically, it is animal with blood.
However, it is assumed that people are desensitized to bug gore since most humans constantly and deliberately make insects go splat and see the aftermath with no problem.

Tagging with some sort of trigger warning could make sense. I don't see how pictures of insects are NSFW, though.
by Anonymous1 year ago
I'm fine with that idea
by Anonymous1 year ago
I dont agree or disagree but this is hilarious.

People need to start wrapping their head in bandages to protect themselves from the mean outside world of sites and sounds

Lmao

Firstly, sights
Secondly, it isn't wrong to want to curate what you consume, especially since we're already ruled by algorithms that do that anyway.
Why must we have to put up with discomfort if there's something you can do about it?

>Firstly, sights
Take it up with talk to text.
>Secondly, it isn't wrong to want to curate what you consume,
Life is chock full of unpleasant things, dealing with them is part of existence.
Trying to force the world to conform to each person's desires is just weird.
If everything is tagged it becomes just a background noise.

There is alot of things people may feel discomfort about. I personally don't like pics looking over cliffs as it makes me feel uneasy like I'm about to fall off. Does that mean every photo like that should be tagged. If yes then nearly everything that as been on this site would be tagged cause it may make someone uncomfortable. Sometime you have to suck it up for 2 seconds as you scroll past.

What kind of job do you have that insects aren't safe for work?
by Anonymous1 year ago
I'm a psychiatrist at an arachnophobia rehab clinic
by Anonymous1 year ago
...well technically.... 👀
But this is still hilarious
by Anonymous1 year ago
Good thing arachnids are not insects!
by Anonymous1 year ago
We've recently expanded our practice to include all arthropods
by Anonymous1 year ago
Insects are animals but I understand what you're saying
by Anonymous1 year ago
You think so? I find them beautiful.
by Anonymous1 year ago
OH YEAH?!?! WELL I FIND YOU BEAUTIFUL!
by Anonymous1 year ago
Ok, thanks... I guess.
by Anonymous1 year ago
NSFW means not safe for work. There are very few workplaces where you'd get in trouble for looking at a picture of a bug (assuming that Internet browsing in general is allowed)

go outside

Sound to me like a You problem.

🤣🤣🤣

It would be nice if every photo and video of spiders were blurred and/or tagged NSFW as well. 🤣 I literally threw my phone while scrolling past a video of one jumping on the screen once!
by Anonymous1 year ago
No

Someone shared some termite birthing nonsense nasty
by Anonymous1 year ago
Holy what, it's a picture on a screen. Do you have multiple bug phobias? (Applies to non bug gore)
