It'd be a shame if my 20 year old Steam and related platform library of 700 or so games just went unused after I die. Sort of reminds me of those people on my friends lists that haven't logged in in 15 years. Don't know what most of them are doing, if they're alive, or who they even were now. Haven't added a friend to any in a decade, so a lot of the people on my friends lists are strangers to me now.

What'll really be a shame is when Steam gets overtaken by a competitor and shut down….I would cry 😭😭

by Anonymous 8 months ago

IF. I'd honestly be baffled if that happened considering how well Steam does for Valve. Epic Games is really it's only competition

I was thinking the long game: I can't see Steam (or any of the tech companies, really) still being around in their current form in 150 years.

That's fair

Son, I don't have much time left. I want you to live life to its fullest, have lots of kids and keep my Steam account going. I want you carry on my legacy and be the best GimmeDemCheeks69420 you can be…..

I'm stealing this for my grandchildren's inheritance letter when they take control of NipplesandToes69

"Son, you're old enough now, to understand the responsibility of what your great-grandfather started. A burden this family has carried for over 80 years in private. A legend that is known by many but respected by few. Son, it is now your time. This is now your legend, and your burden. You must carry it with pride. You must carry it well. Son, from this day onwards, you are no longer a child. You are a man. You are… xXpu$$yS1ay3r_69420Xx Go forth, and uphold the family k/d ratio. As I have, as my father has, and as his father did."

The meme that Japanese/Chinese players are always Gods at games. But because I'm me, there's another meme if you put it in google translate

by Anonymous 8 months ago

Oh, I know Japanese, that's why I was curious but never occurred to me to google it, since I just read it. But after doing as you told, I know where you were going.-

Do yourself a favor son, just turn off the chat. You do not want to continue what I started there.

You assume gamers have children

by Anonymous 8 months ago

Why wouldn't we?

by Anonymous 8 months ago

Gamers have wives who have to do single parenting.

My dad has used the same gamertag for most of his gaming life, and I still use a variation of that gamertag

My grandson back in my day we used to play with Russian teenagers and calling each other the N word. When your father was your age he inherited my gamer tag and he was calling French teenagers the F word and now it's your turn to call our current enemy the whatever slur is inappropriate at the time. It's your destiny and legacy Timmy.
