+164 Most people think that you end the day by going to bed but if you go to bed after midnight that's actually how you start your day, amirite?

'Tomorrow' is a relative statement meaning after I wake up.

What if i pull an all nighter? Does that mean i lived "Today" twice? And my "the day after tomorrow" is now my tomorrow?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Possibly. I do that often.

Technically correct, which means technically I start my days with one or two more episodes of some show on the 'flix or a couple of youtube videos... In my opinion though, the day ends when I fall asleep.

00:01 isn't day time though. How can it be starting your day if it's still the middle of the night?

A day can refer to either a full 24 hours or when the sun is in the sky

Yes I speak English…

So if the day can refer to those 24 hours, going to sleep at 00:01 starts that "day" by sleeping

The start and finish of a day has nothing to do with when I sleep. If I wake up at 2am to pee, then go back to sleep, my day didn't start when I got up then. Also, if I have insomnia and don't sleep for three days straight, it doesn't mean I'm living the same day that whole time. It's still three days and they still start and end at the same time regardless of me.

how does my day end then

So you'd stay younger (in number of finished days) if you go to bed after 12!

I define day as sunrise to sunset so...technically my day does start with me sleeping
