Except it wouldn't kill him, it'd cause him to Hulk out. Remember the line in Avengers? > I put a bullet in my mouth... and the other guy spit it out If a bullet to the face won't do it then a half digested suckling pig won't.

There's a Hulk Comic where Bruce is the last human on earth and he can't die even though Bruce is old and wants to because of Hulk he can't. Eventually he does and only Hulk is left.

I think the Hulk's healing factor and high threshold for pain would allow him to survive the digestion process, even if it's not comfortable. He might Hulk out as a result, but I don't see it as a death sentence for Bruce.

They did this gag in Marvel Zombies. But no, normally when the Hulk eats and changes back the food goes wherever the extra Hulk mass goes when he changes back into Bruce Banner. No fear of exploding.

I'm guessing the Hulk doesn't eat too often, as the chemical pathway that induces the hulk state would likely induce the "fight or flight" response in most people. When normal humans enter this state, their appetite is usually depressed.

I think a related but weirder thing is the dynamics of Venom in the Tom Hardy movies. It's like a living exo-skeleton, but underneath the outer symbiote layer, it's all Tom Hardy's(character), if he wants to talk to somebody normally, he can like peel back the Symbiote skin to reveal his very human head right underneath, so he's right there yeah? That just kinda weird to think about considering the number of human heads Venom consumes.
