Do you mean the commonwealth realms? They're technically under dominion of King Charles III, but not of the United Kingdom itself. And I don't think it's anywhere near 1/3rd the population. The commonwealth *nations* are a larger set, but aren't under dominion of either King Charles III (unless they're also commonwealth realms) nor under the dominion of the United Kingdom. And, of course, the United Kingdom isn't a single island, since it also includes a portion of Ireland
