+4 Growing up is realising nether sides are 100% right

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Growing up is realizing that growing up doesn't make one rational.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Growing up is realizing that nobody really truly grows up.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Growing up is knowing that adults are just old kids making stuff up along the way.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Adulting is just something gray haired kids with glasses do.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

You really proved his point while trying to disagree

by DisastrousBit 5 months ago

you just proved his point ahahaha

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Growing up isn't realizing that you don't have to grow up to be rational (isn't because if you're a kid that realized that it doesn't make you suddenly grow up).

by One-Web 5 months ago

Admitting you are wrong about things, without having to apologize is the true test of adulthood.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

One sure accumulates wisdom over age. Doesn't that make one person more rational than their past self?

by Lindgreneino 5 months ago

Not if everything you've seen through the years is viewed through a filter of "this proves I'm correct."

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Tf is nether sides? Like a dark lord and demons party?

by Owalker 5 months ago

Yeah they are 100% right.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

I believe the nether side he is referring to is the booty. Dat ass don't lie, and is, therefore, 100% correct.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

No. Those guys would likely be on the same side.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Did OP mention any political dimension?

by nolanlaura 5 months ago

But one side is 100% right, the other is 100% left! sorry

by Infinite_Progress_35 5 months ago

Unless you're a creature with pentaradial symmetry then left and right is… confusing

by Anonymous 5 months ago

I cant believe I had to scroll this far to get this confused.

by Original_Leopard_616 5 months ago

magaheads and faux & fiends are always wrong

by Anonymous 5 months ago

you're inherently accepting the status quo. what a cowardly way to think

by melodypaucek 5 months ago

There are many, many issues where one side is right and the other side is completely wrong. Take the evolution vs young earth creation debate for example. One side is objectively wrong, in every way that we are able to scientifically prove someone wrong about something. Growing up is simply learning not to assume you're always on the right side by default, and having the courage to change your mind about things when you gain more knowledge about them.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

In those things, the "wrong side" also isn't monolithic. You just hear of the crazies.

by streichharmon 5 months ago

Not sure you're 100% right on this one.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Oh yeah! Well I'm not sure that you're 100% right!

by Anonymous 5 months ago

I'm not saying anyone's bad, I'm just too tired to care

by Anonymous 5 months ago

yes that is a good separate point

by spencerbarrows 5 months ago

I agree with your statements but it's super clear that despite what your saying you clearly have a preference for one party over the other so ultimately you speak of ideals that you dont follow lol. Think outside the cube, let alone that pitiful box. The divide and conquer tactics are surprisingly still effective to this day, meanwhile the rich get richer and the poor get poorer REGARDLESS of which party is in power

by Anonymous 5 months ago

It's a big club, and you ain't in it. - George Carlin

by Anonymous 5 months ago

It's intellectually lazy and it's childish (it's just "he started it!" for grownups). It's reductive and the coward's way out of an argument when the facts aren't on their side. One side does not have to be perfect before it is allowed to criticize the other.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

That's not recognizing anything. that's making the broadest possible generalization instead of looking at things objectively at a situation by situation basis.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

What are omnibus spending bills that don't get read and "have to" be passed? Correct. You advance to final jeopardy

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Only a Sith deals in absolutes

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Growing up is realizing there aren't ‘sides'.

by Confident-Lychee 5 months ago

Yeah, but one side can be a lot more wrong than the other

by mariamhaag 5 months ago

Critical thinking is realizing there are many factors to your statement.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

If that's true, then there are a lot less grown ups around than there are legally

by Anonymous 5 months ago

There are lots of times when one side is 100% right. Someone hits you with their car and runs off? Someone robs you at gun point? A president insights a coup to over turn a democratic election and his cult storm the capital and threaten people?

by Top-Routine6609 5 months ago

lol ppl thinking this is about politics but it's actually about Minecraft. Re-read it, people!

by idellagraham 5 months ago

Growing up is realising that not every event in the world needs you to choose a side. Have you ever been with an adult who only talks politics and always chooses a side? It's draining. Especially if they can't handle you having a different opinion The world doesn't care if you have no opinion on something happening on the other side of the world.

by Blangosh 5 months ago

Growing up is when you realise there is no right and wrong in this society, it's just people who are working for their own benefits

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Realizing there are no clear good guys or bad guys, there are just people with their own reasons, was an eye opener. Reasons are just excuses to the other side, but if you're willing to kill people for your reasons, you're wrong no matter what side you're on. We make up all kinds of excuses to kill each other, it's madness. We even kill people for killing people. Our "reasons" will have us killing each other to the very last man and feeling righteous about it. Humans are insane, none of us is "right" lol

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Yes. Sadly it is. Noone is correct, but me.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

But then you see people stagnate right there, not willing to take the time to distinguish between the greater and lesser evil. And that lack of action is the viewpoint of a child.

by serenity03 5 months ago

"Knowing only gray, you conclude that all grays are the same shade. You mock the simplicity of the two-color view, yet you replace it with a one-color view . . ." i think some of the quotes on that site uses too many weird words. speak english, dammit.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Idk, not a fan of the nether. Too many ways to die.

by raynorherbert 5 months ago

Same goes for your statement. (And mine too)

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Rubbish. The earth isn't flat, so…

by BothWorldliness 5 months ago

Have you looked into it? /s

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Splitting thinking (black and white thinking) ain't just for kids. It's the focus of every political party, church, sport, and argument. Wouldn't it be great if we could examine all 50 shades of gray?

by Smooth_Maize_4677 5 months ago

Usually. Some things are very black and white, though the world is mostly full of shades of gray.

by Square-Customer-5742 5 months ago

Growing up is realizing that and being responsible enough to choose the lesser of two evils despite any personal loss it may cause you.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Call me old fashioned by I'm pretty sure things like murder and genocide are 100% wrong.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Genocide of Japanese people during WW2 seemed right to many. And most of argument's for it will be "they deserved it",so no.Not everybody thinks genocide and murder are 100% wrong. Its not wrong when they "deserve it"

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Then they were wrong. No one and no race should be at the hands of a genocide. It is never acceptable and that shouldn't need explaining

by Anonymous 5 months ago

looks like there are a lot of children.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

sure nether side may not be 100% right, but there is an objective right standard or principle. then u judge the sides according to that principle, one is going to be better than the other.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

idk man my nether warts grow pretty well

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Only a sith deals in absolutes 💀

by Anonymous 5 months ago

My nether side is 100% ass.

by No-Situation 5 months ago

Unfortunately Twitter shows there are a bunch of man children that run the world. And for reference, that "man" is gender neutral.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Nah. Reality skews left and has been proven time and time again even by our own evolutionary history as communal creatures.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Most people are right handed

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Shouldn't even be "sides" to begin with

by Effective-Guard 5 months ago

I think OP is just saying that we don't always agree on everything

by Anonymous 5 months ago

Adult decisions are picking the least terrible from two bad choices.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

What agenda am I promoting?

by Anonymous 5 months ago

It depends on the issue

by Roma07 5 months ago

"Right" is a matter of perspective.

by Anonymous 5 months ago

I think you are reaching a bit...
