They are saying people don't say "I am practicing self love" because they are actually taking the time to work on themselves and feeling better about who they are, all the time, not only when someone else affirms it, but they say it to cope with the fact they are alone and can't get anyone else. At least this is how I interpret it.

No. Always been confident. Talked to alot of people that do the self love stuff and this is what they told me. So from observation this is what i see
