Children with British accents are easily the most annoying, amirite?

Fictional portrayal of annoying British kids succeeds in being annoying. Next up: Dumb blondes in movies appear low IQ.

I honestly don't get people who hate on people for having an accent. Like I've deadass had people come up to me and be like "Oh I hate scouse accents" like okay? No idea what you want me to do about this?

lets just say.... some accents sound pleasant others dont. and you sometimes just dislike people over such menial details. also big difference between accent and dialects. i loathe people who speak their dialect in such a crass thick way that anyone not from that region basically needs a translator. to me excessive use of dialect or accent is a sign of stupidity. peasantry. we all have a "high form" of our native language. an official way of sounding words so everyone who speaks that language will perfectly clearly understand us. no slang no dialect. then an accent won't be any trouble but rather even charming.

and it may change over time, just like any taste you have. i used to actually really hate Scottish accent. now i consider it "real", like real gritty mountain farmers like, honest people....lol. make of that what you will.

Rough and gritty scot english it's the only english that doesn't annoy me after a while, the one that annoys me faster is the american english, funny enough those who go around trying to talk down the other accents, they have an obsession with the 'd' sound, putting it where it doesn't belong like toddlers.

i honestly think they sound more eloquent than american children whose parents can hardly speak the language properly, let alone teach it to a child.
