When you live in a tiny town in Southern Alabama, where the average person has an IQ of about 80, you might want to leave...
by Anonymous12 years ago
I completely understand. I live in West Alabama and I hate it. It's even worse here if you're gay or a non-Christian. I just happen to be both =/
by Anonymous12 years ago
I am straight and a Christian, but I certainly understand that the people down here are intolerant of differences when it comes to religion and sexuality.

Or if you also happen to be black and a vegetarian...
by Anonymous12 years ago
Really just black in general. At least that's how it is in Hale County.
by Anonymous12 years ago
well since over one person has disagreed it means that everyone should disagree as the post said EVERYONE hates where they live.
by Anonymous12 years ago
This is very true.

I quite like New York City.
by Anonymous12 years ago
well see you live somewhere cool and interesting... the people who agreed obviously don't

*plans escape to London from little Pennsylvanian town* I've been planning to get to England from age seven, I just don't feel like I fit in as an American. That's why I've been learning about English culture, visiting England, and working hard in school to keep my GPA at 4.0 and above, so I can get into Oxford and move to England the second I turn 18.

Wow, you're cultured and REALLY smart!

After growing up in a county of less than 100,000, and visiting several big cities (where my relatives live), I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
by Anonymous12 years ago
This is true for me, but it's pretty obvious that it's not the case for everyone..
by Anonymous12 years ago
I want to move to the other side of the world.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Well, I understand small towns, but what about those of us that live in awesome cities? (Although a lot of older ppl in the cities wish to retire in suburbia)
by Anonymous12 years ago
well I don't HATE where I live, but I'm not particularly fond of it. And I probably won't move AS SOON as I graduate, but it won't take too long.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I've considered it, but this lil town's growing on me. If I do move, I'll most likely end up living here again someday.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I actually like where I live a lot. I really want to go to college near home but its about 57,000 a year for the only one I would even consider :(
by Anonymous12 years ago
i used to think that way. and i did move. now i miss my shitty little town.
